Who we are

The contact form
When you submit the enquiry form on this site, the details you enter, typically your name, company, email, phone number and message, are sent by Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service, to our sales team at sales@equatorsolargroup.com. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising. Web3Forms does not retain submission content by default.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site. It records things like which pages were opened and roughly which country the visit came from, and that information is processed by Google on our behalf. It is aggregated and is not used to identify you individually. If you would prefer not to be measured, your browser's tracking-protection or do-not-track settings are respected where the analytics tool supports them.
The QuickBooks integration
We connect our own accounting system to QuickBooks using a private, internal integration. The service that manages this connection runs locally on a company computer, not on this website. The OAuth access tokens and the client secret that authorise the connection are stored only in a local configuration file on that machine and never reach this website or any of our servers. No accounting data is transmitted to or stored on equatorsolargroup.com.
This site's only role in that connection is a single redirect page, /qb-callback.html. When you authorise the connection through Intuit, Intuit sends a short-lived authorization code to that page as a URL parameter. The page reads that parameter only to forward it, in the browser, to the local machine that completes the connection. It stores nothing, sets no cookies and loads no third-party resources of its own. Because the parameter is present in the request, it may appear in access logs kept by our hosting provider for their standard retention period, which is a property of how web servers log requests generally. The code expires within minutes and cannot be used without credentials held only on the authorised machine.

You may ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting info@equatorsolargroup.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
